The project started as an architectural school task and further became something more. This illustration is an expression how I see Florence, the Italian city where Renaissance had started.

The city as a labyrinth of streets and quarters, as a conflict of an artificial and natural, the dense core and spread surrounding rural suburbs, streets covered in stone with hidden private green backyards, all these where an ideas that I wanted to show in this illustration.
